Welcome to Set Fish Restaurant

The story of the Set Fish starts in 1967 in Kireçburnu, with the restaurant experiences which my dear father Nüzhet İşeri inherited from my grandfather. His success continued to become one of the well-known luxuries and boutique fish restaurants of Istanbul by thanks to her foresight and creativity between the years 1970-80.

I was in the kitchen from the moment I discovered my interest in our work besides spending my childhood between dining tables. Among the cooks, I was interested with every detail from A to Z of our work. In 1997 (after my father dead) I became the head of the restaurant when I was just a student at Marmara University Faculty of Business Administration. My sister Berna Çokgezer also was with me at every step since that times.

In order to create high quality and accessible flavors, I took various lessons from the leading schools of the food industry, especially in New York. As someone who is open to discover different cultures and foods, I always got back to our kitchen with new ideas. In addition to offering fresh fish, I also take care to offer unique appetizers and original desserts that belong to us.

It is our primary duty to reflect our innovative vision to our tables without harming the foundations of the traditions that are the heirloom of our family. I personally choose the materials we use, and this is also my hobby. In order to keep the hygiene of our meals at the highest level, we send them to regular tests and we always take this into consideration when making our investments. Because I know that the quality is cooked in the kitchen...

In Set Balık, you can see familiar faces like your family, you are greeted and welcomed by friendly people. Besides, you can taste traditional flavors with different interpretations while feeling like at home.
